HISTORY AND PROFILE
By dint of sheer diligence of some bonafide philanthropists, the school was set up on 7th June, in 1995. The inauguration ceremony was being held under the auspicious of Akshayaathmaanandhji Swamikal, hailing from Sree Ramakrishna Math, Puaranttukkara in Thrissur District. To begin with, the school got underway its successful functioning with merely 32 students and 3 staff at the compound of Sree Ramakrishna Ashram, Palazhy at Pudukkad. The school had been continued its smooth and successful running for a period of 9 years in the same place and later, in 2004 it was shifted from Palazhy to its current position at Nandikkara, Thrissur District
Sreeramakrishna Vidyanikethan Public School is running under the aegis of Vivekananda Trust, a well-known Educational, Cultural, and Charitable Trust at Kodakara in Thrissur District. Our Trust is registered under section 25 of the Company Act 1956, which is valid for an unlimited period. There are 674 members in this body from which it would be selected 14 members and one BVN nominee to the Director Board for every three years. Its aims and purposes are the following,
- To implement educational policy to quench the cultural, economic, and scientific Deeds by not abstain from the rich values of Indian culture.
- To Promote educational institutions and teaching methodology to rejuvenate the abandoned youth of the modern world and to be a part of their progress.
- To develop and evolve educational institutions, libraries, research institutions, hostels, hospitals to sustain the glory of Indian culture and to nourish self-less service.
- To organize seminars, debates, cultural programs for the students to fortify their general knowledge and to create interests in extra-curricular activities either.
